Earthy Countryside Path

Salve
To promote healing;
to soothe

These retreats are dedicated to Black/African/African Descent women who have lost a child. Grief is something that people often deal with in an unhealthy manner. Oftentimes, we as Black women do not take or have the time to grieve. We are often the matriarchs of our families and have a great deal of responsibility. We also often feel a need to be strong for the people around us. Death is a part of life, but the death of your child....that's not something you can just suck up and deal with. People need time and space to grieve and not be penalized for it. Grief is normally difficult for the people around the grieving person to handle because it makes others uncomfortable. But, grief is messy, not on a time limit, and not a solo process. that's where we come in. Join us to get salve for your soul!
